Durable Medical Equipment and Orthotics

shutterstock_142874449Problems such as flat feet, plantar fasciitis, ankle and foot pain, or repetitive ankle sprains benefit from custom orthotics. The Orthotic Group (TOG) provides our patients with custom-made inserts and footwear. They have several support and sport-specific materials, depending on your needs. Rather than placing your feet in a plaster mold, TOG uses a force-sensitive surface that you walk over. The plate records how your foot moves and where your body weight distributes over each bone, joint and soft tissue structure in your feet. This enables TOG to build a functional orthotics from more data than traditional casting, which molds an orthotic based on foot shape and static foot pressure alone.
